Big Brother 9 twist

Big Brother always warns it’s viewers to expect the unexpected. This season of Big Brother is no different. The Big Brother 9 twist was revealed today.

”This ninth season of BB has a big twist that’s also designed to amp up the steam factor: All of the 16 houseguests (which include a “bikini barista” and a Hollywood paparazzo) are single, available and looking for love. “Through research and compatibility testing, they’ve been teamed in the house with their perfect love match — their soulmate as it were — and they’ll play the game as partners,” Grodner says. “They’ll live together, share HOH and POV wins and be evicted as a couple. This may prove a blessing or a curse. That’s why we’ve tagged this season Big Brother: ‘Til Death Do You Part.”

Grodner promises this latest batch of hamsters is “remarkably fresh and unique in their personalities. No one’s trying to be Dr. Will or the next Evil Dick.”"—source, TV guide.

Are Eric and Jessica still dating? (again, while we’re waiting–we’ll take a look back)

It would appear so……

Eric’s latest interview confirms that he and Jess are still a couple—–he says, “

“Currently Jess and I are dating and it’s awesome. We really found something fantastic from the show and we’ve been making the most of it ever since. She was just in New York for 10 days visiting me and my fam for Thanksgiving – we had the chance to do the whole NY touristy thing and had a blast as always. She’s the best!

BB Houseguests-what’s the latest?

While we’re wating for the new BB9 spoilers and rumors, let’s catch up with a few of last season’s houseguests. Starting with the winner, Evil Dick—–(hmmm, I guess his ‘reign’ as BB8 winner is going to be cut a bit shorter than most with the new season of BB airing in the winter).

Anyway, ED is pretty good at keeping us updated on his myspace page. He posted not long ago with hints that he would be back on television soon.  Rumors were running wild as to what kind of return he would be making. (back to BB?–his own show?—radio show?—-another reality show?) His last post cleared things up a bit…….he wrote, ‘

“I have gotten the nod by a cable network on a show with them. But now we need to meet and see if we are all on the same page with the idea of what I would like it to be. That should happen pretty quick and as soon, or if…. IF it gets signed and becomes a done deal, which I think it will, I will let you know as soon as I put ink to paper.”

Sounds like something’s in the works for sure! We’ll try to stay updated with the news here as he continues to share on his blog. (which btw, is here—-http://www.myspace.com/eveldick )

BB9 finalists….

Thanks, once again, to everyone who auditioned for BB9! We had a fantastic turn out and the decisions were tough.

This is to inform you that all BB9 finalists have been contacted already. If you did not receive a call remember…. just because you’re not right for the mix this season doesn’t mean you won’t be right for the next season. Don’t give up! Thanks for your support of the show!

CBS Big Brother to air February 12 at 9pm

CBS to unveil revamped schedule Network plans ninth edition of ‘Big Brother’ By JOSEF ADALIAN With hopes for a quick settlement of the WGA strike dimming, CBS is getting ready to unveil a revamped winter sked — and that includes moving forward with plans for an in-season edition of reality hit “Big Brother.” Ninth installment of the summer staple will make its bow Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 9 p.m., Eye insiders confirmed Monday. Julie Chen-hosted reality skein will also air Wednesday and Sunday nights at 8 p.m. On Tuesday nights, “Brother” will act as a lead-in for “Jericho,” which will return for its second season Feb. 12 at 10 p.m. CBS revealed that news to fans of the show Monday afternoon via its website. CBS will announce other January and February sked changes later Monday. Meanwhile, NBC continues to shake up its post-January sked, dumping “Bionic Woman” and “Life” for a double dose of Dick Wolf. “Law & Order,” which was supposed to return on Sundays next month, will instead be back in its old 10 p.m. Wednesday slot, starting Jan. 2. It’ll get a two-hour premiere that night, airing from 9-11 p.m. On Jan. 9, NBC will begin airing repeats of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Skein’s first-run segs have been airing on NBC sister cabler USA Network this season. NBC didn’t offer any word on the fate of “Bionic” or “Life.” Latter skein has been renewed for a full season, but NBC hasn’t made any official decisions on “Bionic.” Eye scheduling execs, staying true to form, have slotted the winter “Big Brother” in a manner that’s minimally disruptive to the net’s current sked. While the Tuesday edition of “Brother” displaces the scripted series “The Unit,” the Wednesday and Sunday episodes take the place of reality shows–”Kid Nation” and “The Amazing Race”— that will have wrapped their respective runs by February. Winter air pattern for “Brother” is also very similar to the skein’s summer sked, in which episodes air on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights. Among the potential skeins on CBS’s winter slate: “Jericho,” “Swingtown,” “Million Dollar Password,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and “The Captain.” It’s unclear if the ninth season of “Brother” will still air in the summer.

Big Brother rumors and spoilers….

Keeping you in the loop! ……..

***Big Brother 9 After Dark is getting axed in favor of a having Sequester house filmed. The sequester house will be filmed by a regular TV crew it will not be a 24Hour live feed. The show will air on ShowTime from midnight to 3 AM on a daily basis.

***In a recent interview with Alison Grodner it was confirmed that there will be no America’s player. “That’s really hard to do twice,” Grodner said. “Anyone coming to be a part of ‘Big Brother’ this year would know about it and we’d hate to have people act differently because they think that the viewers are in control. … That doesn’t mean that it couldn’t return in some other way, but doing exactly what we did again, no.”

***There will be no link between the players.

***Due to last seasons prolific rule breaking Big Brother 9 may institute a 3 Strikes rule, and any contestant who knowingly or unknowingly breaks 3 of the golden rules, is called to the DR and summarily dumped without a word to the other HGs, then replaced by an alternate HG. Strict lights out policy and wake up times. Serious regimentation. Chores. Etc…. Almost to the point where the season would be referred to as Big Brother Boot Camp.

***Go back to the nominees picking someone they want to play them in the POV, as opposed the picking a “blessed by god ping pong ball”. If that person the nominee selected wins the Power of Veto they have to take you off the block.

***Outgoing Head of Household is allowed to play for the following weeks HOH

***Big Brother 10 will start in June and be made up of semi popular movie stars. Rob and Amber Mariano are rumored once again to be casted on Big Brother 10

Chen-bot to return as the Host.
